A must for those who go for the first time in the city on water. We will start the visit from Piazza San Marco, first stop the Palazzo Ducale, seat of government, residence of Doges e Palace of Justice. We will then continue towards the famous Bridge of Sighs
We’ll start the visit at the Doge’s Palace, which was the seat of the government, the Doge’s residence and palace of justice. We’ll visit its astonishing institutional rooms, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prison, the Basilica of St Mark’s, the Palatine chapel – now a cathedral – with its wonderful mosaics, the Pala d’Oro, the Imperial Quadriga from Constantinople; the Belltower and the Clock Tower.
We then continue towards Rialto , the ancient financial center and seat of the market , an area much loved by residents who come here to shop and meet up with friends.
Feel like a Venetian for a day.
